Dear God,
Thank you for this day that we remember– the day you brought Angel and Gabo to this world. For what ever reasons you’ve given them life, we celebrate them and wait in anticipation for the great things you have in store for them.
While their lives have been subjected to such an unsettling turn, I pray that you continue bind them in love and unity of spirit.
While they’re away from each other, bridge the distance with the breadth of your care. That they will feel it as if coming from each other.
While each is alone, be the presence that will keep them company every minute.
When sad, cheer them up with joy only You can offer.
When confused, open their minds to Your wisdom that enlightens and console.
And if there ever will be doubt in their hearts, assure them of my love— always, forever, total.
For myself, I pray that You bless me with the power and allow me the chance to give back to them the immense joy they have brought to my life.
And for the three of us, I pray that the day of our reunion comes soon. And that broken as we are today, you’ll bring us back together with greater love for each other and made stronger by this trial which has become bearable only because of your grace.
Amen.

As far as I know, Angel Dad, before Angel’s mom could take her out of our country, she would need your signature on a certain DFA document allowing her to bring in a minor child to the U.S. If she was able to take her out of the country, does it mean she forged your signature? A U.S. immigration attorney is the best person to ask.
We will be praying for you. Hopefully this children custody issue can be resolved in good fate. Both Angel and Gabo need joint custody of their parents. If the mother can go back and forth Guam-Manila and vice versa, and if you guys will settle this matter amicably, then there will be a great chance for the twins to reunite during those visits. I don’t understand why the mother deprived Gabo of the chance to come to the U.S. as well. By now, I surmise that Angel is already a U.S. citizen, so sayang naman kung hindi magkaroon ng same chance si Gabo. If the mother goes back home and express her desire to give Gabo the same chance, will you let it happen? Just a thought.

Hi Yollie,
Thanks a lot for visiting the site.
Re: your questions:
1. DFA document.
Actually it is the DSWD which used to– again USED TO— regulate travels of minors. It used to be that any minor needs the written consent of both parents to leave the country. This provision was rescinded by Sec. Cabral just the early part of 2007. Very unfortunate– at least for our family.
2. Quoting you— “If the mother goes back home and express her desire to give Gabo the same chance, will you let it happen?”
Gabo belongs to where he is now. And Angel belongs to where we are.
It is just right.
The children will make that clear to the mother one day soon. And she will just have to bow to this. That’s certain.
Thank you for your prayers Yollie.
We have been praying for months now. But God has a perfect time.
We wait.
And everyday, good hearted people like you come to pray with us.
This encourages us no end.
Thank you. Please keep in touch. God bless you and your family.
