Those are Angel and Gabriel (we call him Gabo) in the header photo. I shot the picture in Boracay, April 2005 (added some digital enhancements) Angel. Gabo. Side by side. Treading on together. With no care in the world. As long as they move forward as one. Who would have dared rip their paths apart? Long before Angel’s flight, a framed printout of this photo adorned the sala of our house. I thought it was a fitting centerpiece of what remained meaningful in my life. A tribute to the immortal bond between brother and sister— my beloved twins. Every time I see the picture, I fight back the tears (futile, most of the time). One day soon, they’ll tread the same path again..Side by side once more… We pray.

Hi Tito Henry,
I have just sent an email to the Board of Education (Department of Education) in Hawaii about Angel. I am hoping that they will help us find her. I’m sure there’s a way to find her. Please do not lose hope, as we are not.

In my heart I feel that Angel will return – it may be because she wants to do this so much that she will find a way herself. Keep the Faith.
